As Director of Training for Experience Unlimited in Oakland CA, Jason redesigned the curriculum and trained career coaches to lead classes in skills analysis, networking, resume and letter writing, interviewing, and salary negotiation.

As a Senior Recruiter Jason helped physicians and executives win jobs in health care and clinical research. In those five years he broke two national records and coached, counseled, and placed executives as high as the Vice President of a major pharmaceutical company. He guided over 200 clients through 300 hiring processes with dozens of managers.

This experience taught him the complexity of how hiring managers evaluate resumes, cover letters, and interviews. This practice also made him expert at negotiating compensation packages.

Jason's eco-activism has ranged from working and living in redwood trees for Earth First to leading  Eco-Tech, a small research group for Stanford University's Center for the Study of Language and Information. His social-justice activism has ranged from defending people against housing discrimination to organizing health care workers to save 200 nursing homes in California.
